Sadqa Jariya Projects
Sadaqa Jariyah is a continuous act of charity from which people continue to benefit despite the demise of the person who has passed away. For example, supporting schools, health centres, and mosques, feeding programmes or providing clean water. Any action that will alleviate the hurt or distress of humanity will be counted as an act of continuous charity. The majority of the work of Feed The Poor is Sadaqa Jariyah.
Feed The Poor have Sadaqa Jariyah projects awaiting funds; Mosques waiting for floors and roofs to be built, schools that need to be connected to main grid electric supply. Health centres that are desperate for working medical equipment and medicine for patients, and whole communities awaiting clean drinking water. Mothers and children who are victims of HIV or Aids and desperate for a cooked meal a day. Students whose education is on hold due to lack of funds. Any aspect of this work is a Sadaqa Jariyah it can be in the form of a one off donation or regular donation.
A'isha said that the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s prayer and peace be upon him said.
"The deeds most loved by Allah (are those) done regularly, even if they are small."
