Pakistan

Feed The Poor is supporting schools, Orphans, and clean water projects, feeding programmes in Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and the Sind. Feed The Poor has two long term partners in Pakistan, the Khpal Kor foundation with its base in Mingora and the Education Welfare Society in Karachi.

The Education Welfare Society is based in Dayee Numbar, Korangi, Karachi, Pakistan. Who run the following projects for the Burmese Muslim Community also known as Rohingas

A school called the Isra Community Academy, the school provides education, healthcare and welfare for 175 children who have been taken from the streets and away from petty crime and put on the first step of the ladder of education.
An ambulance service for the poor of Dayee Numbar Korangi Karachi.
A feeding programme for 70 orphans of Sher Shah Karachi.

The annual running cost of the Education Welfare Society is £13000 for 245 children! The cost for each child for the whole year is £53.
